Formalities and tourist information
Vaccines
Travelers coming to Mexico are recommended to receive vaccination cover for polio, diphtheria, tetanus, typhoid and hepatitis A and B. Besides, in a majority of tropical areas, some mosquitoes can be carriers of viral diseases including dengue, malaria or chikungunya. Make sure to wear adapted clothing, especially on the evening, and use insect repellent spray.
Visas
French citizens must have a valid passport. A free Mexico tourist card (also called FMT) will be delivered either upon arrival at the airport, or by your flight attendant before landing.
